Wow what a stunning filly just as amazing as her mother. Herbstnacht has her mothers look and movements and is just what we hoped we would breed when putting Chabrol on Herbstwolke. Herbstwolke was special chosen for Arentino but shows what a fantastic match she also make with our stallion Chabrol.

Herbststern’s Sire Chabrol is by Alter Fritz, which is a powerful son by Chardonnay with impressive movements, excellent action and a lot of suppleness. In good harmony with his body Chardonnay knows how to please his rider. He was the Reserve Champion of the Trakehner championship for young riding horses at Steinhagen-Brockhagen and succeeded in several riding tests and dressage competitions for young horses. His offspring is impressive with good tallness, nice top line, strong and correct bones and three excellent and extreme balanced movements, all combined with wonderful character and temperament. Alter Fritz’s sire premium stallion Chardonnay was reserve champion of the Bundeschampionship at Warendorf and the Trakehner dressage champion in 1995. Chardonnay, who was in his years the most successful young dressage horse of the whole of Germany, represents the very well known and highly reputated sire line of Rockefeller and Consul, which has a great influence in all German breeds as well. On the mothers side Alter Fritz is also featured with the best bloodlines. His dam Agatha Christie (state premium mare) is the actual reserve champion of the regional broodmare show in Rheinland-Pfalz 1994 and won the, I b-prize at the national broodmare show at Warendorf. State Premium mare Arena IV is a daughter by the champion sire Seeadler. This son of Habicht produced a lot of good breeding as well as good sports horses. His sire Habicht, a son of Burnus, was known as a really successful eventer and has left a big impact on the Trakehner breed today. Also on the dam’s side the popular sires Argument, Arsenal, Aron and Argonaut can be named.

Chabrol’s mother Cinzana was reserve champion of her central grading and show and took part successfully at the national Trakehner mare show. She is a big powerful (trot 10) mare with noble type and highly recommended dressage abilities. Her full sister Countess produced with her daughters Chamonix, Carrara, Courage and Casablanca four supreme champions of their show.

Chabrol’s mother line of Cajenne is originally the same as that of Caprimond, and Cajenne’s daughter Cornelia founded that new branch of this highly proven bloodline, which is entering more and more the centre of the whole Trakehner breed.  Chabrol is very closely related to the premium stallion Chateauneuf.

The modern pedigree of Singing Herbstnacht’s dam Herbstwolke also combines the mare families of Donau and Herbstlicht and her dam produced the approved stallion Heidsieck by Tanzmeister in 1999, which has started a very promising dressage career.

Future jewel for dressage and breeding, this mare has a wonderful combination of the genes of the leading sires Sixtus, Kennedy, Michelangelo and Ibikus. If you look into the 3rd generation you will also find outstanding bloodlines for dressage and for high level breeding too.

Donauwalzer was awarded a premium at his grading and is the most impressive son of Elite stallion Sixtus. This wonderful chestnut stallion is very noble, athletic and shows the most powerful and elastic trot with a wonderful walk and uphill canter. His mother Donauflut by Ibikus is one of the youngest of her legendary father and founded her own branch of the famous Donau-family. Grandmother is Donauflamme a very typical daughter of the world famous sire Habicht. Donauwalzer represents an outstanding line breeding to Ibikus and to Habicht, two of the most famous sires for breeding and competition within the last 50 years.

Michelangelo founded besides Mahagoni the second line of the unforgotten Pastur xx. Inselkonig, who was a popular Sire in the Hannoverian breed and the American Trakehner breed too.

The Herbst-family counts among the most successful, valuable and proven families of the Trakehner breed, producing great Sires such as Herzzauber, Herzkristall, Herzbube, Herbstruf, Herzkonig, Herbststurm and great dressage horses like the Olympic star Hirtentraum.

Singing Herbstnacht is a beautiful long legged filly with movements as powerful as her mother and with her wonderful rare and very proven competition bloodlines she will stay with us and hopefully join the herd as a broodmare one day.
