Singing Mika again show what a fantastic broodmare Madonna is by his very powerful movements and showing this wonderful proud attitude to life. He has also a very big jump and this is again a very fantastic trade that Madonna passes on. 

Madonna’s sire Pascal never got the chances in the breed, which he deserved. The noble impressive Donauwind-grandson was a real gentleman. He was the champion of his performance test and was in his younger years very successful in show jumping and three-day-event on a national level. He always passed on his kind and willing character; his offspring is well known for being easy to ride and train. His mother line of Pelargonie-Peggi is known as one of the most proven families of the whole breed and produced the international dressage stars Partout and Peron. He himself is nearly a full brother to the mother of Anky von Grunsven’s Grand-Prix-dressage stallion Partout.  

Her dam Marcella has bred many outstanding foals although I think Madonna is the best she ever breed. Marcella is by the Sire Postmeister, which is keeping alive one of the most proven dressage bloodlines of the whole breed. His father Major competing up to Grand Prix level, has already produced some outstanding dressage talents and the important sires Magister, Malachit and Hermes. Through Postmeister this line has been established in a most impressive way. His sons Tango, Wildfeuer and Mumpitz (full brother to Marcella) carried these genes on. His dominating position as a dressage sire has been proven through a big number of high successful competition horses like Dr. Klimke’s international stars Pia, Tango and Harmonie. This bloodline is well known for passing on good size, big frame with powerful and elastic movements and in a certain sense very athletic and noble horses.

Mika’s sire Singing Horatio was the first English bred colt for seven years and out of Arentinos first crop of English foals. Horatio is a super stallion with wonderful movements and a brilliant character. He is a really fun horse to be around always making the staff laugh. He was sold to Keatinge Trakehners and has started a very promising eventing career.  

Horatio’s Sire Arentino was competed in Prix St. George dressage and did also really well in show jumping. Arentino’s sire Santiago by Wie Ibikus and out of the foundation mare Schwalbelied was Champion of his grading in 1980 and was a very substantial big framed grandson of the legendary stallion Ibikus, which went on to become a very good show jumper. Wie Ibikus himself produced a big number of high successful dressage horses competing up to Grand Prix. Santiago produced some outstanding broodmares and the value can be seen in his offspring’s competition results. 

Arentino’s dam Arktis II presents herself as one of the valuable broodmares of the trakehner breed, being a full sister to the stallion Arogno, sire of the stallions Schwadroneur (now dead) and Anky’s stallion Partout. Arktis’s offspring are doing well in 3-day eventing and dressage competing in Prix St. Georges. 

Horatio is out of Hawaii, which is by the trakehner stallion Pascal (now dead).

He was a very noble and very impressive grandson of Donauwind – a real gentleman.

He always passed on his kind and willing character and his off spring are well known for being easy to train and ride. His mother line is known as one of the most proven families within the trakehner bred and produced the international dressage stars TNC Partout and the Olympic dressage stallion Peron. He himself was nearly a full brother to Anky Von Grunsven’s Grand Prix dressage stallion TNC Partout.  

Hawaii’s Dam Herzblatt was for many years well known, as one of the highest quality mares of the whole breed, becoming champion mare of the German trakehners Bundesschau. Herzblatt also got a 10 for movement and produced the graded son Heinrich der Love, who became a top class show jumper. Herzblatt’s dam Elite mare Herzchen produced Herzruf a leading Sire of top broodmares and high talented dressage horses. Her 2^nd graded son Hirtenruf became Reserve Champion of his grading. Herzchen has produced many Champion mares and graded sons with very high marks for movement and confirmation. Herzblatt’s Sire Seeadler is very famous for stamping his off spring and high quality producing daughters, as for exsample Regatta, dam of Monica Theodorescu’s International dressage star and Olympic hope Renaissance Fleur TSF.

 Mika is a very strong boy with plenty of bone and should make a fantastic sports horse in any sport.
